I Won!

Good Friday All!

I haven't created a lot lately as I re-enrolled in University (distance ed) to finnish my degree and have been preparing for school to start. I am going through withdrawl though so hopefully I can do some creating soon!

I did it!

Good Tuesday All!

Well, it wasn't easy but I finnished the remaining 7 AVS sketch challenges! So without further ado here are sketches #4,5,6,8,10,11 &12.

I know this one is loud but the paper was so much fun I had to use it! I kept the sentiment panel quite plain to keep the focus on it. I guess the "pink arrows" don't hurt either! LOL.

I don't know why but I had the hardest time with this sketch. I was actually a little past the deadline for submitting this one so I don't know if it will count but I had to do it anyways! As I kept working on it I really began to like it.

I never use this stamp set but I think it's adorable and I thought this little guy fit perfectly into this sketch.

I don't have a die cut machine so I had to do these scalloped edges by hand. I tried to line up some score lines on the green piece with the striped piece. I really like how this one turned out.

This turned out completely different than it started in my head! Very simple yet I like it.

Could I do any less stamping on a card? Oh well, I love this DP so it was the main focus.

I actually don't love this card very much. It does, however, look better in person as the pink "dots" are actually glitter which really pops the card.

My creative juices have been spent for the day! Hope you enjoyed these! I must return to the not-so-glamorous job of laundry and vacuuming now. Hope you have a great day!

Hello All!

Okay, so I got four more AVS sketches done today but I still have seven more to go by about noon tomorrow if I want to get them all done before the deadline! In other words, I need to stop blogging and continue creating! Here's what I came up with for sketches #1,2,3 & 9.

Anni-VERVE-sary sketch

Good Friday All!

I so desperately want to do all of Julee's Anni-verve-sary sketches! I have a lot of catching up to do. I have managed to do only one so far so I better get busy. Here is my take on sketch #7.

I can't believe I did a Christmas card when it's 30 degrees outside but it worked! Now I should go out and enjoy this beautiful weather while I can! Have a fabulous day and thanks for stopping by.

Gone so long!

Wow! It's so good to be back!

I guess I should explain my 3 week absence...it's quite simple actually. I have been visiting my Family on the Sunshine Coast in B.C. and they only have DIAL-UP! I did bring very limited supplies however, and managed to create something for Mojo #47. Unfortunately, I couldn't scan or upload at my Dad's house so I had to wait until I got home. Better late than never, I guess! Again, I had very limited supplies ( 4 colours of paper, two stamp sets, and a few embellies) so it was a real challenge for me. Here is the result...

There's a lot of work to be done now that I'm home but I hope to get to post on a regular basis. Thanks for you patience!
